Starting your own business can be frightening but very rewarding as well. Really there are many stones you will have to pass by starting your own business, getting customers or leads is one of the hardest ones, this is something I have had issues with, as well.
However I have found that getting a great website in place can actually generate more income than you could ever imagine, just by having a website up and having it running. There are tons of free web hosting tools out there too, and making a website is a lot cheaper than you would think. With that said there are a ton of companies willing to pay you for advertising on your website. With affiliate advertising. There are a ton of places out there. There are also hubs out that work with multiple companies that will pay you, YES YOU, for generating leads. Some companies out there will pay over 150.00 Per lead that is generated as well. These types of affiliate programs can be set up with different types of campaigns, and may want you to simply place a banner on your website. Some may pay for pay per click, some may pay per lead, some will pay per sale, and some may pay per call. Its crazy the amount of money you can make from this alone. As for advertising, you can choose to pay for advertising on many different websites by placing an add on many of the several search engines which will direct customer to you. My favorite one for this is Google Ads, however, I was broke when I started, and I was bent on not spending a single dollar to start.
So there are free ways to advertise online for your business and it is amazing how much traffic it brings.
Google is my favorite for this. You can make a free Google email, and you can make a free Google Website for your business and you can make a Free Google Blog, and a Google + account just like this, as well and you can place yourself on Google maps at Google My Business.
Yelp is also free to advertise, All you have to do is type in Yelp Business and claim your business if it isn't on there already you can add it for free.
All social media sites are great for promoting your business, places like Facebook, twitter, linkedin, is a great place to find leads on through the saved search option, Pinterst, Tumblr, Instagram, and you can make videos on YouTube to promote your business free, as well.
Linkedin has a great lead generation tool, to help get customers for your business. Here is the link below.
Yahoo also has a place to advertise for free, and you can get on many of the other search engines free as well.
