Your Credit You Things You Should Know So you can take back your life!

Getting to know you credit is a very important thing, because if you don't know your own credit, you can't fight back. There are several great Companies out there to be able to help you learn and monitor your credit. When it comes to your credit there are some things you should know, especially about bad credit. 

Under the Fair Reporting act, when you find a fraudulant charge on your credit report, you can dispute it, it is YOUR LEGAL RIGHT! Then the credit reporting agency has to review and respond to every dispute it receives within 30 days, if they fail to do so, that item has to be removed off of your credit. 

I mean having good credit may not effect you if you are in that 2% of the population and you have enough cash to buy a car, or a house, or pay for everything with cash, then you do not have to worry. However, I am not that fortunate. 

The difference of someone having a credit score of 650 and above, compared to someone that has a credit score of 500's is a huge difference. On a mortgage a 200,000.00 home for someone with average credit will cost someone roughly 850.00 to 950.00 a month.  However if you have a lower credit score, you could pay 1400.00 or more sometimes and that is just because of interest rate alone, and I don't know about you, but I like my money. I can buy a hole lot of stuff for 500.00 a month, then here is the kicker for you, that's 6000.00 per year, 60,000.00 for 10 years, if you do a 20 year mortgage that is $120,000.00 that;s a lot of money you could have been saving!

Even credit cards will get you, the average credit card percentage for lower credit is 15% and with a modest limit of  $5,000.00 you could end up paying an extra 12,000, and spend 27 years of your life trying to repay this. 

I promise you this is not good for you! However there are steps you can take to fight back and regain control of your credit, and it doesn't take much to do so, no matter your credit situation. They are great, I actually worked with them to repair my credit and I had a great experience with them! They can remove almost everything off of your credit, the only things I think they can't remove is Tax Lien and Child Support. However from what I heard its Fair game for everything else.
